On my way home from the anti-trump protest on Market Street in San Francisco last night, I saw this little girl on the bus. She was at the protest with her amazing sign. Instead of words and painting my opinion for this post, I’m just posting the picture I snapped of her. Pictures say a thousand words…
What do you think? How do you interpret it? How have you discussed the election with your children? Comment below.

Hi readers! I'm Amie, the author. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I wrote my first story in the second grade, and it was called "How the Bat Got its Wings". That was the moment I fell in love with writing, at the young age of 8. I have been writing ever since. And, when you believe in something and love something, you share it with the world. So welcome to my world and welcome to my words! I post every Sunday, so be sure to stop by then! And, don't just scroll through– read, engage, and enjoy! Thank you all for your support! It means more than the world to me!

I was so glad to hear that there were demonstrations. I don’t know anyone where I am that are doing them… although surely there are… (I’m in a sea of red here)
Thank you for showing solidarity against him, and giving people like me… adrift and alone, hope.

Yeah. I figured there would be some here. There’s always protests in San Francisco, and it was great to see children involved. Some people say they’re too young but it’s great that they’re aware and active!
